Gallo & Iacovangelo, LLP successfully defended Regional Transit Service, Inc. in the recent trial of a trip-and fall case before Justice Raymond Cornelius. The jury dismissed the plaintiff's lawsuit following trial without any finding of negligence against RTS. Trial attorney Joseph Rizzo stated that "the evidence clearly indicated that the RTS bus driver did absolutely nothing wrong and provided the plaintiff with a safe and reasonable place to get off of the bus." The jury dismissed the lawsuit finding that the plaintiff did not sustain a "serious injury" as required under the New York State Insurance Law.
