Middletown Enlarged City School District (USDC, Southern District of New York), the plaintiff alleged that he was subjected to adverse employment actions as the result of his exercise of free speech. G&I represented a former superintendent of schools alleged to have failed to protect the plaintiff after the plaintiff complained to her concerning the alleged adverse treatment. "The evidence presented at trial supported that our client engaged in no retaliatory conduct whatsoever and that the plaintiff's work environment improved substantially after our client became involved," said Rizzo. "We are all pleased that this matter has finally been put to rest."
