Litigation attorney, Seema Ali, obtained summary judgment today dismissing a lawsuit brought against Gallo & Iacovangelo, LLP client, the Town of Greece, which alleged false arrest by a Greece Police Officer (Lowenguth v. Town of Greece, Rochester City Court, J. Byrnes). The Trial Judge held that the police officer had probable cause to arrest the plaintiff so the the plaintiff's claims could not be established at trial. "The Judge's holding validates the exemplary conduct of the arresting officer" said Ali, "and we regret only that his conduct was questioned in the first place."
